Bechamel sauce can be added to many dishes such as Lasagna and pasta. It should be easy and quick to make and once you learn it, you will always use it.
To make the best vegan Bechamel suace I use Barista Oat milk. The barista oat milk is thicker than the other plant based milk. This way, you get a thick and tasty sauce.
Time to make: 10 mins
To start making this recipe, you will need the following:
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil (I am using the Greek Oil in the picture)
- 2 tbsp of all purpose flour
- 2 cups of barista oat milk
In a pot, add the oil to medium to high heat. Then in a minute, add the flour and stir. Add the milk on top it and whisk until the sauce is thick. When it reaches an accepted level of thickness, you can remove it and set it to cool. Now, you can use the sauce on the main dish.
